The summer session of this storytime has been cancelled due to lack of registration. Storytime for 2's & 3's will resume in the fall!

Storytime for 2’s & 3’s – Ages 2 & 3:  Wednesdays at 10:30 AM from July 15 – August 12

This 20 to 30 minute storytime includes songs and fingerplays, simple stories, feltboard stories, and phonemic awareness activities appropriate for children aged 2 & 3 years old and their caregivers (older siblings are also welcome).  Our phonemic awareness activities will focus on learning and practicing the short vowel sounds and then some consonant sounds, and learning to put sounds together to make simple words.  

Registration is required for the summer session. Limit of 12 (minimum of 6) children and their caregivers - if fewer than 6 children are registered by July 8, then the summer session of this storytime will be cancelled.

The summer storytime session is five weeks, and registration is required for the session.  Registration closes on July 8 for the summer session.  Registering for this storytime will register you for the entire summer session (yes, it is ok to miss a storytime - we totally understand that people take vacations in the summer!).

This storytime is designed for children ages 2 and 3 years old (24 months through 48 months old).  For children who are younger than 2 years old (younger than 24 months old), please attend the Mother Goose on the Loose storytime which is specially designed to hold the attention of younger children!  Click here for more information about the MGOL storytime.
